IDEAL Cell: Principal Collaborators
Roberta Amendola graduated as Chemical Engineer at the University of Genoa, with an experimental thesis on "Study and evaluation of different metallic alloys for planar SOFC interconnects". Since January 2007 she has been a PhD student in Material Science and Technology. She performed research activities at the Italian Institute of Welding (Genoa, Italy) in the special welding processes laboratory, focusing the investigation activities on laser welding of duplex steel and comparison of different welding technologies for copper/aluminum joints in solar panel production.
She is currently coordinating, under the supervision of Prof. P. Piccardo, a team of young researchers working on the development of metallic interconnects for high temperature fuel cells.
